Denver CEO sues following ban from Colorado Golf Club, claims it cost business deal

Denver CEO Sues Colorado Golf Club Over Business Deal

A Denver CEO, Cole Evans, is suing the Colorado Golf Club after being banned from the premises, which he claims cost him a business deal worth "in excess of multiple eight figures".

Evans, the owner of Kiss Nutraceuticals, a dietary supplement company, was entertaining prospective buyers from Shore Capital Partners at the club when a manager, Brian Straight, accused him of breaking in and stealing liquor.

Brian Straight told (Cole) Evans he was not welcome on the property and that if needed he would call law enforcement to escort him off.

According to Evans, the incident led to the collapse of the sale. He had been looking to sell his company to Shore Capital Partners for a significant amount in May 2023.
