Thousands Protest Trump at No Kings Rallies in The Villages
Thousands of demonstrators gathered at two No Kings rallies in The Villages, joining millions of Americans nationwide in protesting against President Trump's policies.
A large crowd assembled near the entrance to Lake Sumter Landing, holding signs and surpassing the size of the previous No Kings rally held in June.
“It was amazing, gratifying and exciting,”
said Villager LaRae Donnellan, media coordinator for the No Kings rally, estimating over 5,000 demonstrators at the two locations.
The rallies saw a mix of Villagers and young people participating, with some residents wearing colorful costumes while waving their signs.
