Trump Commutes George Santos' Prison Sentence
President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he is commuting the prison sentence of former Congressman George Santos.
George has been in solitary confinement for long stretches of time and, by all accounts, has been horribly mistreated
In a social media post, Trump compared Santos' situation to that of Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal, who falsely claimed to be a Vietnam veteran. Trump stated that Blumenthal's actions were "far worse" than Santos' and praised Santos for "ALWAYS VOTE REPUBLICAN!".
