The Indy Fuel hockey team will face off against the Toledo Walleye at the Fishers Event Center on Saturday night at 7 p.m. as part of Military Appreciation Night.
This game follows the team's season opener on Friday night, which was a sellout at the 7,500-seat facility that opened in 2024. The Fort Wayne Komets won the opener 4-0.
Assistant Coach Stephon Thorne expressed his appreciation for the fan support and the welcoming community in Indiana.
Thorne shared the team's game day routine, which includes preparing video materials, holding pre-game meetings, and optional morning skates for players. He also highlighted his positive experiences of moving to Indiana from Canada, citing the Hoosier hospitality and community support.
The Indy Fuel competes in the ECHL, formerly the East Coast Hockey League.
