A 3-year-old Alabama girl, Kionni Haugen, who was allegedly abducted by her mother, Haley Harris, and taken to Mexico, has been reunited with her family.
The reunion occurred on October 4, after lawmakers stepped in to assist in the case. Investigators had tracked Harris using her cell phone data, but Mexican officials initially refused to release Kionni back to the United States.

Kionni's father, Bryce Haugen, reported that the incident began on September 21, when Harris arrived at his house attempting to take the 3-year-old. Harris is now facing charges related to the alleged abduction.
