A few clouds are possible in east Alabama this morning, but the majority will remain clear with plenty of sunshine going into the afternoon hours. The cloud cover in east Alabama and Georgia is due to a developing low off the South Carolina coastline, producing heavy rainfall across South Carolina and into the Mid-Atlantic.
This storm will create rough surf, coastal flooding, and gusty winds across the East Coast today and tomorrow, but it will not impact our weather. We will remain sunny with afternoon temperatures climbing into the lower 80s, and winds coming from the north at 5 to 10 mph.
If you have evening plans, the weather is looking fantastic with a clear sky, and temperatures are forecast to cool into the lower 70s by 7 p.m.
