LIC Wellness Fest
Hundreds of people attended the inaugural LIC Wellness Fest on Saturday, Oct. 11, despite wet conditions, to celebrate and promote healthy lifestyles.
The event, hosted by Hurricane Fitness and Trends Dispensary, featured a "high-impact wellness block party" with fitness classes, wellness and nutrition workshops, and product demos.
A "great day" for members of the local community to enjoy fitness activations and learn about health and fitness-based businesses in their neighborhood.
The festival was supported by local sports, wellness, and active lifestyle businesses in Long Island City, allowing attendees to sample various health and wellness products and services.
