After winning their home opener against the Florida Panthers, the Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) hosted the Winnipeg Jets (3-1-0) at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday.
The Flyers have a 1-1 record against the Jets from last season. Before the game, defenseman Cam York was activated off the injured reserve, and Emil Andrae was sent to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Samuel Ersson started in goal for his second game of the season, following a strong showing by Dan Vladar against the Panthers.
