On Friday, paramedics rushed to three separate car crashes within half an hour in the Lake Macquarie area.
A collision on the Pacific Highway at Charlestown occurred at approximately 10:30am on October 17, resulting in the highway being closed in both directions and causing heavy traffic conditions.
Emergency services, including Transport for NSW and a tow truck, were present at the scene, with diversions in place while the crash site was cleared.
