Siwa Oasis, located deep in the Western Desert, is a place of epic proportions, with its "sand therapy" believed to have curative powers over musculoskeletal and skin conditions.
The oasis is situated on the edge of the Great Sand Sea, just 50 kilometres from the border with Libya, making it a unique and ancient healing hotspot.
