Carbon Market Watchdog ICVCM Opens Office in Singapore

The Integrity Council for Voluntary Carbon Markets (ICVCM) has opened its first physical office in Singapore, in partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Board.

The Asia Pacific hub will focus on assessing methodologies for the early retirement of coal-fired power plants and peatland.

The independent non-profit works to establish and maintain global standards for voluntary carbon markets.

ICVCM aims to foster high integrity solutions relevant to the Asia Pacific region, including transition credits from the early decommission of coal-fired power plants.
