Police Identify 62-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in West Nashville Apartment
Metro Police have identified the victim as 62-year-old Mahmoud Z. Hall, also known as Al-Bunni, who was fatally shot inside a West Nashville apartment.
A 20-year-old woman, Hailey J. Hall, has been charged with criminal homicide in connection with Al-Bunni's death. The two lived together in the apartment on Highway 70 South.
According to investigators, another man who lives in the apartment called 911 after arriving home and finding Hall standing in the doorway of the bedroom she shared with Al-Bunni. The caller reported seeing Al-Bunni unresponsive on the floor and that Hall told him she had shot him.
Hall declined to discuss the circumstances with detectives, police said.
