Sen. Capito Seeks Answers from FERC on Lake Lynn Generation's Park Maintenance
Sen. Shelley Moore Capito is asking the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to investigate allegations of poor maintenance of Cheat Lake Park and lake recreation areas by Lake Lynn Generation.
Capito shared a letter from the Rotary Club of Cheat Lake with FERC, detailing the conditions at the park. She requested that FERC look into the issue and provide a response on their findings.
"I request that FERC look into this issue and request a response on your findings that I can provide the Rotary Club and my constituents who have raised additional concerns regarding the upkeep issues at Cheat Lake Park,"
she told FERC. The senator seeks answers to address the concerns of her constituents.
