Bay Area Weather Update
The first significant storm of the season is moving through the Bay Area, bringing rain, wind, and possible thunderstorms.
Tuesday is expected to be a Level 1 system on the ABC7 Exclusive Storm Impact Scale, with scattered showers continuing under partly cloudy skies and chilly morning temperatures.
Rainfall estimates will range from a few hundredths to 0.25 inches.
Heavy rainfall causes flooding, backups on Bay Area roadways
Forecast
- Sunny and mild days will resume starting Wednesday, lasting through Saturday
- Friday and Saturday will be the warmest days of the week, with 70s near the bay and near 80 far inland
A dry offshore flow will bring warm temperatures to the area.
A winter storm warning is in effect for Lake Tahoe through 11 a.m.
