Taylor Swift released her twelfth original studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl" (TLOAS), on October 3, dedicating it to her fiancé, Travis Kelce, a National Football League star.
As a self-proclaimed "Swiftie," the author had high expectations, having grown up on Swift's pop albums "Red" (2012) and "1989" (2014), and fallen in love with her folk-inspired albums, "folklore" (2020) and "evermore" (2020).
Swift's music has always held a special place in my heart, with her beautiful storytelling, poetic lyricism, and effortless execution of any genre of music.
However, the author was sorely disappointed with the new album, despite being a loyal fan.
