South Texas Art Exhibition
The latest exhibition, "Madre Land: South Texas Memory and the Art of Making Home", is now open at the first-floor gallery at Centro de Artes, located at Historic Market Square.
The gallery showcases the narrative of the Latino experience through art, with a focus on the transnational Latino experience throughout South Texas.
"mi casa es su casa," or, "my home is your home"
The exhibition, curated by Bonnie Cisneros, a proud Tejana, explores the concept of home and community.
