Cadwallader Invests in Electric Refrigerated Trailer
Cadwallader has added a Schmitz Cargobull S.KOe COOL to its fleet, marking its first move into fully-electric refrigerated trailer rental.
The company chose the zero-emission box body semi-trailer to complement its range of conventionally powered rental trailers, helping meet customers' evolving needs.
“If you went back five years fully-electric refrigerated trailers were vanishingly rare. Now we have excellent options such as the S.KOe COOL. However, if you want to hire an electric reefer, provision remains limited.”
According to Joe Cadwallader, business development manager, there is strong demand to be environmentally savvy, with hauliers at a disadvantage if they lack a sustainability policy and supporting products.
Cadwallader's investment in the S.KOe COOL trailer aims to address this demand and provide customers with a more sustainable option.
