Police Arrest Man and Woman After Dramatic Chase in Tamworth
A man and woman wanted on warrants have been arrested in Tamworth after a dramatic daylight chase through several streets.
The police operation unfolded on Monday, October 13, when plain clothes officers from the Oxley Proactive Crime Team spotted two persons of interest in the West Tamworth area.
"On approach, the two ran from police,"
a spokesperson told the Leader. The woman was arrested in a property on Cossa Street, and the man allegedly hindered during the arrest.
