Union Pacific Awards Over $4 Million to Nonprofit Organizations
Union Pacific has distributed more than $4 million in grants to 430 nonprofit organizations across its system as part of its Community Ties Giving Program.
Grants range from $5,000 to $30,000, supporting the railroad's giving priorities:
- safety
- workforce development
- community vitality
- environmental sustainability
“Union Pacific is committed to empowering local organizations that are driving meaningful change,”
said Liisa Lawson Stark, UP vice president-Public Affairs.
“These nonprofits are the heartbeat of their communities, and we’re honored to support their efforts to create safer, more vibrant places.”
