Alec Baldwin has assured fans he is "fine" after crashing his car into a "big fat tree" while trying to avoid a rubbish collection lorry in the Hamptons.
The incident occurred when Baldwin was with his brother, actor Stephen Baldwin, on Long Island, where they attended the Hamptons International Film Festival.
"I was in a car accident this morning, I'm fine. My brother Stephen was visiting me on Long Island and we spent the weekend out there for the film festival."
