WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital has introduced a brand-new medical helicopter to its fleet, an Airbus H135 with only eight hours of flight time.
The $8.5 million aircraft is part of the hospital's commitment to state-of-the-art healthcare in West Virginia, according to officials.
A blessing ceremony was held for the new helicopter, led by Father Cyprian Osuegbu, lead chaplain at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
The new helicopter has that "new copter" smell.
