Charity Seeks New Volunteers to Help Adults Learn to Read
A charity that helps adults learn to read is looking for a new coach in Tidworth.
Read Easy South, a literacy charity based in South and East Wiltshire, offers free, confidential one-to-one coaching to help adults who struggle to read.
Meetings between the coach and reader take place twice a week at approved local venues, or online, for one hour sessions working through a structured, phonics-based reading programme.
Our mission is to harness the initiative, energy, skills and experience of volunteers and equip them to provide coaching for adults in their communities who want to improve their reading.
The local group was set up in May 2022 and continues to thrive but it is currently seeking a Coach for a Reader in Tidworth.
