Remembrance Day is approaching, bringing diverse weather conditions to Vancouver. This year's statutory holiday falls on a Tuesday, making the long weekend optional for those who take Monday off.
From Monday through Thursday, including Remembrance Day on Tuesday, steady rain is expected. Daytime temperatures will stay between 10°C and 11°C, with nighttime lows around 6°C. The Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has not yet provided estimates for total rainfall during this period.
"Between Monday and Thursday, it’s rain, rain, and more rain," noted the forecast, highlighting persistent wet conditions.
For forecasts beyond this stat holiday, an ECCC meteorologist recently shared insights into winter conditions and the possibility of snowfall in Vancouver.
"We recently spoke to an ECCC meteorologist about winter weather conditions and when Vancouver might even see some snow."
Vancouver will experience a mix of sun and rain in the days before Remembrance Day, followed by a stretch of steady rain through the holiday and into midweek.
