After taking a break from skydiving in 1967 to raise her family, Knor returned to the sport in 2003 and set her ambitious goal of reaching 1,000 jumps.
Knor plans to make her 1,000th skydive in Lake Wales, Florida, where she will earn the United States Parachute Association Gold Wings.
