In a social media post, Richt addressed the rumors directly:
“Apparently, there’s something out there on the Internet saying that I’m in the hospital. Not true.”He also joked about his appearance while running, saying,
“If you would have seen me running down the street today, it was so pitiful you probably would have thought I needed to be admitted to the hospital.”
“I look at it as a momentary light affliction compared to the future glory in heaven.”
Despite his health challenges, Richt remains active in sports commentary and regularly appears on the ACC Network.
