Comedy Fundraiser to Benefit 3-Year-Old Cancer Patient
A comedy fundraiser, 'All 4 Emma', will be held on October 18 at the Bishop Murphy Knights of Columbus in Warren to benefit Emma Hartkorn, a 3-year-old girl diagnosed with stage three renal cancer.
According to her mother, Alyssa Slanec, Emma is
a ball of joywho has shown strength in the face of her diagnosis. Slanec said,
She's been through more than most adults, and she has handled it better than most adults.
Emma was diagnosed with cancer in December 2024, which had spread to her abdomen, left kidney, and inferior vena cava, a vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the lower body to the heart.
The event aims to support Emma and her family during this challenging time.
