Vancouver Canucks Terminate Vitali Kravtsov's Contract

The Vancouver Canucks have officially decided to part ways with winger Vitali Kravtsov. General manager Patrik Allvin announced that the 25-year-old Russian forward was placed on unconditional waivers to end his contract.

Kravtsov participated in the team's training camp in Penticton, British Columbia, before being assigned to the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks. During his time there, he recorded one goal and three assists in 10 games.

The Canucks initially acquired Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in February 2023. Over the past two seasons, however, he mainly played for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL.

Standing six-foot-three and weighing 186 pounds, Kravtsov contributed one goal and one assist over 16 NHL games during the 2022–23 season. He later amassed 27 goals and 31 assists in 66 games for Chelyabinsk in the 2024–25 campaign.
