Embark Studios has announced in-game compensation for Arc Raiders players affected by recent server problems over the weekend. All players who logged into the extraction shooter on November 2 will receive 500 Raider Tokens as an apology for disruptions.

"Our servers had a wobble on Sunday. Scrappy must've pecked a few wires loose — he's been put on the naughty step 🐓 As a token of our thanks, we're sending 500 Raider Tokens to all Raiders who logged in on Sunday."

The official Arc Raiders account shared this message on X, explaining the compensation and thanking players for their patience. According to SteamDB, the game reached a new concurrent-player record of 354,836 users on Steam that day.

Despite the technical issues, the milestone highlights strong player interest. The game is also available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store, indicating higher total active players across all platforms.

Launch Day Struggles and Future Plans

Server instability also occurred on Arc Raiders launch day, October 30, which is typical for highly anticipated multiplayer releases. The large demand underscores why Embark chose to launch the title between Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Looking forward, Embark confirmed that Arc Raiders will not introduce "novelty" cosmetic skins. The studio plans to focus instead on strengthening the game’s unique style and atmosphere.

Summary

Embark Studios is compensating players with 500 Raider Tokens after Arc Raiders faced server outages on November 2, reaching a record-breaking player count despite technical setbacks.
