2025 Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees
Clemson Athletics and IPTAY’s Block C Club are welcoming ten outstanding former Tigers into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The inductees will be celebrated and introduced during the game against Florida State at Memorial Stadium.
Tim Bourret
Sports Information Department • 1978–2018
- Worked in Clemson’s sports information department for four decades, first as assistant director under Bob Bradley (1978–1989), and later as director (1989–2018).
- Inducted into the National College Sports Information Directors Hall of Fame in 2017.
- Received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the College Sports Information Directors Association in 2019.
- Honored with the Bobby Richardson Award from the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.
- Under his leadership, Clemson received the “Super 11” award from the Football Writers Association five times for having one of the top eleven SID offices nationally.
- Edited more than 100 award-winning Clemson publications, including 37 focused on Clemson football.
- Contributed to ESPN’s committee commemorating the 150th anniversary of college football.
- Currently in his 47th year as broadcaster for Clemson men’s basketball, making him the longest-serving broadcaster in any ACC sport, and in his 13th year as a football color commentator.
- Named an honorary alumnus of Clemson University in 2007.
