North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces during Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
The service at the Cenotaph starts at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying.
After the service, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
Those attending are invited to stay at The Baths Hall for refreshments and reflection.
Cllr Carol Ross, Mayor of North Lincolnshire, said: “It is a privilege to lead our community in remembering and honouring the immense contribution of our armed forces – those who serve today and those who have served.”
