North Lincolnshire Remembers Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces during Remembrance Sunday with a parade and remembrance service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade will assemble outside The Baths Hall from 10:10 AM.
- Procession will begin at 10:25 AM, moving along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
- Participants can gather inside The Baths Hall for tea and coffee from 9:30 AM or join outside starting at 10:00 AM.
Remembrance Service
The service at the Cenotaph starts at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying.
After the service, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
Those attending are invited to stay at The Baths Hall for refreshments and reflection.
