Legion XIII’s Tyrrell Hatton showed early promise at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on the DP World Tour. However, two double bogeys on the back nine of Round 2 cost him momentum, leaving him with an even-par 72 at Yas Links Golf Club. Hatton, who started strong with a 6-under 66, now sits tied for 35th — eight shots behind leaders Tommy Fleetwood and Aaron Rai.
4Aces GC’s Patrick Reed recovered well from a modest 1-under 71 in Round 1, carding an impressive 4-under 68 in Round 2 to reach a tie for 40th. Legion XIII’s Tom McKibbin, fresh off his win at the Link Hong Kong Open, struggled this week with rounds of 75 and 69.
At The International Series Moutai Singapore Open, Legion XIII’s Caleb Surratt remained in contention, finishing Round 2 with a 4-under 68 after an opening 6-under 66. He enters the weekend just two shots behind leader Soomin Lee.
Smash GC’s Talor Gooch and 4Aces GC’s Thomas Pieters are tied for 15th, four shots off the lead. Meanwhile, 2025 LIV Golf Wild Card player Anthony Kim continued his steady play, following an opening 4-under 68 with a 3-under 69 to share 24th place, five shots behind the leader. Crushers GC’s Paul Casey finished Round 2 with a 2-under 70 and sits tied for 50th.
