Jeremy Renner: Staggering Claims As Filmmaker Accuses Actor Of Intimidation

Jeremy Renner Faces Misconduct Allegations from Filmmaker Yi Zhou

Filmmaker Yi Zhou has accused actor Jeremy Renner, known for his role as Hawkeye in Marvel films, of intimidation and inappropriate behavior. Zhou claims that Renner sent her explicit photos without consent and later threatened her with deportation.

Alleged Misconduct and Threats

Zhou stated that Renner began sending her unsolicited intimate images in June 2024. When she confronted him about the behavior, she alleges that Renner responded by threatening to call immigration authorities on her.

“It is with deep regret, sadness, and disappointment that I am compelled to share a truth I have been holding inside for too long. Mr. Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behavior that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before.”

“When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me, an act that deeply shocked and frightened me.”

Zhou added that no creative professional should have to endure emotional or psychological pressure to protect their name and integrity. Stanisland Magazine has reached out to Renner’s representatives for a statement.
