“Customers were coming to us and saying that anything from Roots is considered a great gift,” said Roots CEO Meghan Roach.
According to Roach, this sentiment was discovered through surveys and social media responses. She added that the enthusiasm for Roots products inspired the team to build an entire campaign around this idea.
Although the campaign doesn’t highlight specific products, Rogen is seen wearing signature Roots items such as the Landscape Sweater. His friendly personality and humor align closely with the brand’s inclusive and approachable identity.
“He’s so approachable and engaging. A lot of the content he creates is light, funny and relatable, which perfectly reflects Roots,” said Roach.
This marks one of the brand’s most high-profile celebrity partnerships for the holiday season, reinforcing Roots’ image as both authentic and iconic in Canadian culture.
