Comedian Alan Carr, 49, triumphed on Celebrity Traitors after a tense final where he successfully concealed his Traitor role from the other contestants. Following the episode, Alan publicly apologized to friend Paloma Faith for his dramatic "murder" of her on the show.
During the final on Thursday night, Alan outsmarted the Faithful to claim victory. In the spin-off series Uncloaked, he confessed to feeling deep guilt over deceiving his friends, especially Paloma Faith, 44, who was one of his closest pals.
Alan chose Paloma, who was pregnant at the time, as his first victim. He eliminated her by pretending to poison her with the pollen from a fake lily, an act that left her furious about the betrayal.
"The thing is, when I killed Paloma I felt sick inside. And you've got to remember, it was such a cruel twist to touch someone's face."
Explaining his actions on Uncloaked with host Ed Gamble, Alan said he felt "awful" about having to pick Paloma, but insisted he had no choice during the game.
Alan Carr admits the emotional difficulty of deceiving and “murdering” his close friend Paloma Faith on Celebrity Traitors, showing the complex nature of reality game strategies involving loved ones.
