King Charles recently took a historic step by stripping his brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, of his "prince" title. This unprecedented move may pave the way for further changes to royal titles.
A palace source told Page Six that they
“would not be surprised” if future “King William” stripped Prince Harry of his title. The source explained,
“If they pass these bills, I would not be surprised if Harry is the next one to go. I would not be surprised if William does that… he’s not a vindictive person, but he feels very let down and it’s always much more difficult when you are let down by somebody close to you.”
A source speaking to The Daily Beast revealed that William intends to
“remove princely titles from all non-working royals”. Those affected would also lose the HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) style.
King Charles’s unprecedented removal of a royal title may lead King William to similarly strip princely titles from non-working family members, including Prince Harry and potentially even the younger generation.
