Brookmans Park Street Wins £1 Million Postcode Lottery Prize
Seven neighbours from Brookmans Park's AL9 6PT postcode will share a £1 million prize from the People's Postcode Lottery's weekly draw.

Charity Support Pledge
Steven Bean, 52, one of the triple-ticket winners, pledged to donate part of his £250,000 prize to a charity supporting adults with learning difficulties.
“The first thing I’m going to do is give some money to a charity who had a bus stolen and burned.”
The charity, Camphill Milton Keynes, had its only minibus stolen and later found destroyed by fire in early October.
“The bus is insured, but it won’t cover the cost of getting a new one. Hopefully other people will give them a few quid too.”
