The first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is expected to debut this December alongside James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash. According to Collider, multiple sources confirm that the initial footage from the MCU's next major team-up film will be shown with the latest installment of the Avatar franchise.
Collider notes this plan may still change before Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on December 19, 2025. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to open nearly exactly one year later, on December 18, 2026. As of the article's publication, Disney has not responded to IGN’s request for comment.
Filming for Avengers: Doomsday wrapped in September. Precise details about the movie’s plot are limited, but it is confirmed to unite the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and original X-Men together on the big screen for the first time.
Several actors from previous Marvel projects, including Brie Larson, Famke Janssen, Elizabeth Olsen, Charlie Cox, Andrew Garfield, Halle Berry, and Chris Evans, have either been ambiguous or denied their participation in Doomsday.
Channing Tatum, reprising Gambit, said the movie will feature moments “50 times bigger than when Wesley Snipes' Blade turned up in Deadpool & Wolverine.”
Author’s note: The movie aims to deliver an unprecedented superhero crossover, promising epic scale and bringing together iconic Marvel teams.
