Steve Witkoff, the US special presidential envoy for peace missions, acknowledged ongoing progress in resolving the Ukraine conflict, while emphasizing the challenges ahead.
Speaking at a business forum in Miami, Florida, Witkoff said,
"I sense that there's some break, there's some progress today, but I think it's a tough conflict."
He pointed out the extensive work required on security protocols, noting that:
"There's a lot of discussion that technical teams have to have in order to hold a high-level meeting."
Despite these diplomatic efforts, securing a comprehensive resolution remains a complex task demanding detailed negotiations and protocol agreements.
The US envoy highlights cautious but real progress in the Ukraine crisis settlement, while underscoring the significant work needed on security arrangements and diplomacy.
