Elder Gérald Caussé was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His calling was announced on Thursday and he was ordained by President Dallin H. Oaks along with members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Gérald Caussé, age 62, was born in Bordeaux, France. In July 2024, he spoke to youth during a devotional in Versailles, France, serving as the Presiding Bishop.
