Jalen Green led the Phoenix Suns with 29 points in his debut, helping the team secure a 115–102 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. Devin Booker supported the effort with 24 points as Phoenix pulled off a strong second-half surge.
Green, who missed the first eight games due to a right hamstring strain, played 23 minutes and shot 10-for-20 from the field, including six made three-pointers. He joined Phoenix in the offseason in a seven-team trade that sent Kevin Durant to Houston.
Grayson Allen, despite battling illness, contributed 18 points. Mark Williams added 13 points and nine rebounds, while Royce O’Neale scored 17, including 11 during the third quarter, when Phoenix outscored Los Angeles 40–23.
The Clippers suffered their third straight loss, playing without James Harden, who sat out for personal reasons, and Kawhi Leonard, sidelined by an ankle sprain.
Bradley Beal had a rough game against his former team, shooting just 2-for-14 and finishing with five points. Phoenix fans expressed their disappointment, booing him during introductions and every possession he touched the ball.
“Beal played two seasons in Phoenix but was frequently sidelined by injuries.”
Jalen Green’s explosive debut powered Phoenix past a depleted Clippers lineup, marking a confident start to his new chapter with the Suns.
