Now residing in Dubrovnik, Laura works as an emergency medical nurse while finishing her third year of nursing studies at the University of Dubrovnik. Despite her busy schedule, she remains deeply devoted to her profession and community.

“When you see someone come back to life, it’s such an overwhelming feeling, I nearly fainted. I kept thinking about it for days afterwards,” she said in an interview with Dnevnik Nova TV at Zagreb Airport before her departure.

She explained that her job requires constant readiness and credited her colleagues for their teamwork and dedication.

“Without their help and teamwork, none of this would have been possible. They were there for shift changes and everything!”

Admired for her grace and compassion, Laura is an advocate for both physical and mental health. Her mission is to encourage others to invest in their well-being and approach life with kindness and purpose.
