After Charlie Kirk's assassination nearly two months ago at a Utah University event, his widow, Erika Kirk, shared how their children are coping. Erika spoke about her three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son, who still ask about their father.

During an interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters, Erika tearfully described her children's ongoing questions about their father. She revealed how she explains Charlie's absence to her daughter.

"After Charlie's death, Erika told her children that their father has gone on a work trip with Jesus."

When asked if her children still inquire about their father, Erika answered:

"Yes, my daughter continues to ask. But it is really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. And I said, if you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to sky and start talking to him. He can hear you."

With emotion, Erika shared how she comforts her daughter:

"And I told her, I said, you know Daddy is in heaven. She goes, 'You think I could go sometime?' I said, 'Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.'"
